As a senior director of brand marketing at Avocado, I developed brand voice and tone while establishing strategies for web, blog, email, paid and organic socials, press releases, and audio and video campaigns. marketing. I worked cross-functionally with product, performance, and studio marketing teams. On Avocado’s blog, we stuck to thoughtful storytelling and made the complex accessible. This approach was extremely successful. Traffic on Avocado Magazine increased more than 100% year-over-year for four years, to more than a million annual uniques, with an average time on page of three minutes.

After FinalStraw raised $1.8 million on Kickstarter, I helped the viral campaign establish their brand voice, blog, content, social, and email marketing strategies.

BrightAction wants to be the Duolingo for climate solutions. I helped the organization build out their web site with accessible, actionable, and relatable content.
REI
In honor of the 100th anniversary of our National Park system, POWDER launched a content marketing campaign with REI, called “Monumental,” that included a digital feature, a feature-length film, a film tour, and a coffee-table book. The project delivered more than 75M impressions.

In partnership with The North Face, I developed the story for a coffee-table book, a short film, and a print and digital feature, which I wrote. The narrative required me and a team of producers and professional athletes to travel across Russia by train.

Woolybubs makes pretty neat, quite stylish, and totally sustainable baby shoes. I helped the company launch their web site, developing strategies and content for pages, blogs, email marketing, and social campaigns.

At thinkPARALLAX, a corporate sustainability strategy and communications agency, I lead content marketing initiatives—spanning articles, whitepapers, and newsletters—to drive B2B growth and strengthen client relationships. I also partnered directly with corporate clients, including Bain Capital, Ferrara Candy, Alaska Airlines, and Amneal Pharmaceuticals, to elevate their sustainability communications and ESG storytelling.
