Avocado 

At Avocado, I wrote or edited all web copy, blog posts, email marketing campaigns, audio and video scripts, paid and organic social posts, and press releases. I worked cross-functionally with product, performance, and studio marketing teams. On Avocado’s blog, we stuck to thoughtful storytelling and made the complex accessible. This approach was extremely successful. Traffic on Avocado Magazine  increased more than 100% year-over-year for four years, to more than a million annual uniques, with an average time on page of three minutes.

After FinalStraw raised $1.8 million on Kickstarter, I helped the viral campaign establish their brand voice, blog, content, social, and email marketing campaigns.

Bright action

BrightAction wants to be the Duolingo for climate solutions. I helped the organization build out their web site with accessible, actionable, and relatable content.

REI

In honor of the 100th anniversary of our National Park system, POWDER launched a content marketing campaign with REI, called “Monumental,” that included a digital feature, a feature-length film, a film tour, and a coffee-table book. The project delivered more than 75M impressions.

In partnership with The North Face, I developed the story for a coffee-table book, a short film, and a print and digital feature, which I wrote. The narrative required me and a team of producers and professional athletes to travel across Russia by train.

Woolybubs

Woolybubs makes pretty neat, quite stylish, and totally sustainable baby shoes. I helped the company launch their web site, developing content for pages, blogs, email marketing, and social campaigns.
